Ken, I went back through our previous conversations and you mentioned that John has MS. Any idea how he is doing? My wife has MS and if he needs a friend to talk to, give him my info.

Ken, I don't remember John Massey and couldn't find him in the year books. Was he the same grade as us? When was he there?
Wow, you are lucky you didn't get caught. I remember those rolling shutters. They were so heavy they lifted my youngest brother off his feet. Great memories!!

Hi Ken,
I am going to find some old letters that have the address. I would love to see the old house. We had the third floor, just two bedrooms, an attic and a bathroom. My mom and dad's apartment was below us and we had to go to the common hallway to get to their part. On the bottom floor, was a German family with one child. We drove them nuts! We would take the twin mattress and slide down the cylinder stairs into our parents apartment. You could hear us banging on the wall of the stairwell. My parents were gone or they would have kicked our butts! Gee, fun memories. Thanks for the Google tip!

I cannot remember our address in Waldorf. I could tell you everything about the house, though. I remember the "Great Truck" day when the large garbage truck would come to take large items away. We came home with a treasure trove of antiques. We were so excited! I don't remember the girl you named. I remember our neighbors across the street, Helga and Gerhardt Himmel. I wrote to them for years afterwards. I like Waldorf and walked all over that town but now I can only remember certain things about it. I didn't get my bike until we lived in Gateway.

Hey Duck thanks for the welcome, I like you went from 6th thru 9th grade there, played BB for 3 yrs, we took all european 2 of those 3 yrs. so being like ages at like places I'm sure we did like things, regardless of years, Though "pot" was only heard of and never seen when I was there, I sure it was some diffrent during your years, but I sure made up for it in "Binding", to this day I still can't drink beer unless it's German, Dutch, Check or Belgum, just can't do American Beer. I to went to Germany in the military, Army for me, spent 1975-1979 in Mainz God that was good!
Hi Ken,
Where in GG did you live? I was sort of in the middle. Pat Sherwin, Red Dutton, Mary McGovern, Donna Chewning and Tony Mehallow lived around me. You said you arrived in 1972. Did you get there at the beginning of the school year. I have been going through the 71 & 72 yearbooks. I was there from 1969-1973.

When i have shot Black an d White film i have never been happy with the out come of my shots compared to others, i have always thought when some can get all the true shades of B and W they are professionals. Mine have always been shades of grey! So in the Digital you can do it all after the fact? From the computer?
The swine flue! how did that happen? I am glad they are on the mend ! cheers for all your info i will take note and put it in my note book. The DSLR you can use your lenses from your other cameras! that's a bonus! have you tried them?

See-ratshit can lead to good things! Been trying to ride as much as time permits before the weather gets too bad. Took a 1200 mi. ride down south to Bullhead City/Laughlin week before last. Caught about 60 miles of rain on the way home, but I dried out ok. Glad to hear you're staying busy. Nice to know someone is!
I will definitely check these out when I get home tonight - can't access either one at work.
We are being deluged with rain again this week. How is it for you?
Ken, you are not going to believe this. I want to go but may not be able to because my son will graduate from Coast Guard basics about that same time. His graduation is in New Jersey. I am bugging him to find out when it actually happens so I can make better plans. I really would like to see everybody. I hope it all works out.
I am glad your business is doing so well. I also appreciate the stuff you put on facebook.
Hi there that is so sweet of you to offer your Canons! One day when i get settled and have more space and more money to buy film every now and then i will except your offer! so put them away some were safe for now!
I have to focus on this digital stuff and catch up, i like your Brighton shot in B+W LOL. It was on Salt Dean Beach a few villages away from Brighton. The ones with the dogs i took were Peace Haven Beach i was house and dog sitting for a week. All those beaches are along side each other. When i do the Black and While transfer I want to do them as large Canvas. I have started a Flickr page.
Hi Ken Yes i forget about the B+W transfer, I still have alot of experimenting to do, reprograming my brain to think black and white after the fact instead of while i am shooting. That was a good price for your camera i remember you mentioned awhile back, i have never perchaced on ebay befor. One of my Canons A1 befor that AE1 i bought 2nd hand and it lasted 7 years befor needing attention.
Hope your business is doing well! It must have been alot fun having all your family over for the wedding!
Did you put your Daughters wedding pics on here yet?
I was talking to my other brother last night and telling him about your "mine field" story, nedless to say he was busting a gut!! Of course he said did you tell him about our brother and his mine field adventure? Too freaking funny!! It is a wonder some of us didn't get killed over that fence.
Thanks Ken, I hope things work out where I can go.

I left in July 1973 and did not get that yearbook. I lived in Waldorf the 2nd year and then on base for the last two.
