What can I say, this is a wonderful site, and I never pass up the chance to reconnect with old friends from the olden days. Life has been a roller coaster for me, but we reap what we sow and I have learned to bear responsibility for everything, good and bad.
As you can probably tell, I have a thing for ferrets. A friend once told me (when I was living alone in a small apartment) that I needed a pet, and she suggested a rat. Rats are cool, very socialble little beasts, but when I went to the petstore, I noticed the ferrets and fell in love with them right away. I got one, a little female kit I named Sashaa, and the next month, she and I went back to the store, and she helped me pick out her cagemate, who we named Thud. It was the best decision I ever made when I got them and that was five years ago. Those two little carpet sharks were gems, and if and when I had a bad day, all I had to do was open the door to find them waiting for me and it was playtime, and whatever troubles I had just faded away.
A few months ago, I lost one of my little weasels, Thud was called home, and that left just me and Sashaa. Well Sashaa decided that she needed a new friend and decided on my moms little yip yap dog Gypsy. As you can see from the photo, Gypsy isnt exactly thrilled at the prospect.
