About Me:
Happily Married to my hubby of 15 years. I have one of two children still left at home, who just became a teenager yesterday, so you can probably imagine the happenings at my house these days......lol My oldest is out there making me so very proud serving his country in the US Army. I also have 3 step daughters and a step son, who I love as if they were my own. Last year I started a journey in the next phase of life, I became a grandmother to a wonderful little boy, and the circle of life started a new rotation.... This Feb. I had two granddaughters born one day apart, and let me tell you if your not there yet......It's so awesome, everything you have heard and then some! So to sum me up these days......Its all about my family and I take each day to count my blessings, and store up those memories.

Please tell your son that he has friends that he does not know who are proud of him and thank him for being there for us. I pray these next few months fly by for both of you.

Martine, how is your son doing? Is he still in the Army and if so where is he stationed? My son is looking to join either the navy or air force. Hope you are doing well.
Last night was so cool. My granddaughter has figured out how to fight her sleep. I held her and sang to her until she fell asleep so my exhausted daughter could get some rest.

Thanks Martine - I am gathering pics and will post them as soon as I can. She is a real cutie. It will be interesting to watch her personality develop. We live in the same house as my daughter and son in law so we will be very involved in watching her grow.

Hi Maxine, do you by chance have an older brother named Alex, & a sister named Camille, & you used to live in Langen Terrace Bldg 500-B? If memory serves me correctly!

Absolutely! That is the great thing about working with kids. Their energy and fresh outlook on life is energizing to me. For them, all of life is an adventure. Things are new and fresh. That is a great way to continue to look at life. Every day God gives me is an opportunity to live the adventure.

Absolutely, count your blessings. There is always plenty around to gripe about. I'm glad things are good for you. Isn't incredible that our kids get older (get married, have kids, etc.) and yet we don't?

Did you go by Martine in school?

Hi Martine, nice to meet you. It looks like you came in as we were leaving. You got to stay longer than we did. I wish we could have stayed longer but it didn't work out that way. Did you have to come back during your senior year? My sister had to come back during her junior year which I always thought was tough.
Congratulations on being a grandmother!
