I don't get the channel, but I was very happy for Jeff Beck. Can't believe it took so long! I've always been a big fan. Saw Little Feat several times, once with Lowell George. He was their heart and soul. Never saw him with the Mothers, but it seems almost everyone was influenced at one time by Zappa, who I saw many times. I think Jeff Beck is playing soon in San Francisco. Once again, I'll be there.
What sort of hours do you have going during the week? I stay busy at the paper Tue-Fri. Not much on the turkey hunting but do a real good job of calling them up, I have a built in turkey call. LOL Maybe we could put a little something together with the music though. Give a call 710-0212
Hey Kevin I was scrolling thru the pics and saw that you live in Salem SC. I'm right up the mountain from you. In mounatin Rest. I see that you know Woody. You must have ran into my mom by what Woody posted. Give a shout.
Kevin, it's a shame that this site wasn't around back when Debbie was still alive. I know she would enjoy hearing from you. Cancer sure does take its toll. Mom and Debbie both died from cancer just 9 months apart. I'm sorry to hear about your parents. You never quit missing them.
You live in some beautiful country. I can see why you made that home.
Most of these pictures were taken near our house except for the Daytona pictures and deep sea fishing photos. We live where the SC, NC and GA mountains and state lines merge. We enjoy the mountains and lakes. Most of the game animals were harvested from our land. We fish all over this place. The folks you see in the pics are our friends and friends of our sons. The guy in the Tennessee hat is none other than the bass fishing legend himself...BIll Dance..my hero! The baseball team photo was from RM in 1971 and includes Mickey Nelson and his Dad,our coach, Fred and Jon Carlo Frank, WIllie Ruckman and Greg Haas, the other guys, I can't remember there names. The picture of me with the Greenville shirt on was in 1972 not long after we moved back to Atlanta from RM. The one of me with the afro hair was from my chiropractic college ID in 1977. All are great memories and it's a good thing we don't take pictures of the bad times.
Kevin, we were there at the same time but managed to miss each other. You may have known my sister though. Great pictures - you would definitely fit in here in our neck of the woods in Arkansas.
