I count the 4 years at Rhein Main as some of the happiest in my life. You only had to look to your right or left to find a friend, and no one needed to be lonely, unless they wanted to be. My thanks to Jeri George for contacting me at facebook and letting me know about this site. I hope to connect with other "lost" but soon to be found friends.
I have two wonderful young adults, Amy (24) and Drew (19), both in college in Georgia. I moved the summer of 2008 to St. Petersburg, FL and would love to connect with other "brats" in the Florida area.
Pictures (old and new) will be added when I can get the copies from my Mom. I hate to admit it, but all my memories are in my head. My father, god bless him, trashed it all when we moved. Even the day-glo Flowers with the "Falcons" in the middle.
So Belinda are you still thinking on going to DC? I hope there's alot going that would be Groovy. hope they start pushing the message to get more on board, the more the marrier
Hi Belinda,
So who was your 6th grade teacher? I know Tony was in my class with Mrs Sykes. I only have the '74 yearbook so I can't look you up. Do you remember Lisa Musser? I think I may have just located her and am waiting for her to email me back. Those were good times! We lived off-base so I don't have the same experiences as other brats. My mother was German so we pretty much only went to the base for school and not much else. I do remember going to the ice rink a lot and Halloween was so much more fun there than the ones my kids grew up with. This is a great site to reconnect! Where are you living now? I'm in Illinois, close to St Louis. I am a nurse midwife and have 3 grown children.

Hi Belinda - I knew Stephanie Lewis through Kathy O'Rourke and Jennifer Hanna - all were very close friends. Kathy & I lived in Buchschlag..did you guys live in GG. I know so many people during my years at Ding Dong (65-6) and FHS (69-72 ). Would love to hear from them all. I've been to 2 FHS reunions (92 Denver & 95 in Frankfurt) and 1 RM reunion (2007 in Vegas). Thanks for the response and keep in touch. Steve
I'm elusive, hard to tag!@ :)
My wife has relatives who go clamming and have lobster traps. We are going to do a lobster, crab boil at my house on August 29th and then a big cookout on August 30th. My son will be here, and my daughter and one of my sisters are going to be visiting! My sister hardly ever leaves Florida, so this is big. Nothing like hanging out with good food, family, friends, and knowing you don't get many opportunities to do this! Reaching over and TAGGING you.
EEEK! I've been tagged. It was a clam boil this last weekend. The lake association was raising money for a new roof. It was great. The big cook out happens on August 30th. I'll take pictures and post them on facebook.
I maybe going to Vagas this year, I'm going to Speed week on Bonneville Salt flat In Utah on the 17th of Sept to check out the set up. I want to Run my car next year. should be fun. I would have to see how it all fits together and who all going. It does sound fun.
