Anyone on here from 1964 to 1967 even those from the old Rhine Main Ravens team from 1965 and 1966 Main Valley Champions.Also anyone remember a guy by the name of Wayne Caspersen?I have been trying to locate him for a long time along with John Lingley.Anyone remember the Rhein Main Ravens trips to West Berlin in 1965 and 1966 with Coach Chuck Hall.

I know that John Lingley's name and address is in the Eagles Alumni book, (only because I just got it in the mail and was checking it out.) Maybe that Wayne is in there too, unless he left early?? Was he in the same class? I will look at it when I get home and get you that information. John Lingley went to the reunion in Vegas, and he had breakfast with us one morning. It was great catching up. He looked great.

Kathy John Lingley played for Rhein Main Ravens in 1965 and 1966.Wayne was in high school in 1967 when I departed Rhein Main.There are several of the Rhein Main Ravens I remember and two of those I have heard from one is Mike Tilley and the other Duane Patton.I hear from them on the old Rhein Main Web Site.Wayne had a brother neal that I was with at Rhein Main Dependent School which later I believe became TUNNER.I also ran into a family from Rhein Main that were with the 7th Engineer Brigade by the Name of Ashley Tayor.They were in Atlanta back in the 90s but I have lost track of them as well.So if you know how I can get in touch with John Lingley or Wayne Caspersen let me know.Thanks Dan Palmer

I remember Wayne Caspersen he was in the class of 1967 and a friend. He tried out for the wrestling team at Frankfurt High. If I remember correctly he was not allowed to wrestle with his leg braces. His upper body strenght was amazing. He used crutches, but got around pretty well. I have not heard from him, since I left Rhine Main in 1966. I did not remember the name of the Rhine Main football team, they would not allow me to play because of my weight, I had to wait until I went to Frankfurt High.

The name of the little league team was the Rhein Main Ravens and the high school team was the Falcons and the Gi team was the Rhein Main Rockets.Matter of fact Mike the day we returned to the United States we were met at Kennedy Airport and transported to Maguire Air Force Base New Jersey in July 1967 by Sammy Sumpter who was the star player for the Rhein Main Rockets..I ran into a couple of the Rhein Main Ravens in Burlington Township High School in New Jersey during a high school wrestling meet against there team.Wayne was like me on braces and crutches and strong as an ox.That is because he always lifted weights over at the base gym.I was kind of his side kick at Rhein Main.It was like having a big brother watching out for me.I wished I knew where he was Mike.I remember Tim Krein his dad was the Vice Base Commander.Do you remember when our little league baseball team won the right to go Williamsport Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series.Great memories for a great base led by a great leader your dad.Tell your dad thank you for your service to our nation and our base.Dan Palmer
